About the Center
WHAT IS THE BUSINESS CENTER OF DECATUR?

The Business Center of Decatur is a business incubator, in which a number of new and growing businesses operate with affordable rents, shared office services and access to professional, technical and financial assistance during early, critical stages of development.

The Business Center of Decatur, which was created to nurture entrepreneurs, has joined forces with Millikin University and Tabor School of Business to provide a certificate program in Self-Employment Training.


WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?

The Business Center helps bring new businesses and new jobs to Decatur. We give entrepreneurs the support they need to make it through those first few crucial years. Only 30% of all businesses survive their first five years... but when they start out in an incubator, 70% of them succeed. The Business Center can make the difference!
